ARTIST
Linn Espinosa
Linn Espinosa was born in Bogotá (Colombia) in 1976, where she attended the Universidad de Los Andes. In 2000 she moved to Bologna, driven by the desire to expand her artistic knowledge. She enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts, graduating with a thesis on the Bolognese artist Pirro Cuniberti, whose work led her to explore the expressive power of line and the importance of conveying, through painting, the childlike dimension present within each of us. After completing her studies, she began her artistic career with the support of the well-known Galleria Paolo Nanni in Bologna. Her work still carries a poetic and dreamlike quality, with a clearly defined personal language, influenced by artists such as Saul Steinberg, Paul Klee, Pirro Cuniberti and Lucini. She has participated in numerous art fairs, as well as solo and group exhibitions in Italy, Colombia and internationally.
