On Thursday 22 June 2023, from 3 pm to 11 pm, Galleria Studio Cenacchi, Via Santo Stefano 63, Bologna, opens Three Stories in Animation as part of Open Tour 2023. The exhibition presents videos by Mattia Girotto, Leonardo Quaglieri and Sofia Spinabelli, curated by Luca Panaro.

The three animated works explore experiences that shape our lives. They consider the search for one’s place in the world through self-reflection, the temptation of the fleeting happiness offered by contemporary society, and the difficult process of moving beyond experiences that have caused deep emotional pain.

Each artist approaches these themes through animation, using moving images to tell a distinct story while opening up broader questions about identity, desire and emotional resilience.
