After completing his studies at the State Art High School, Paolo Migliazza moved to Bologna, where he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts. In 2015 he graduated in sculpture with a thesis on the evolution of the figure within the plastic language that shaped the twentieth century.

Since 2016 he has collaborated with Galleria L’Ariete Arte Contemporanea in Bologna, where he presented the solo exhibition We Are Not Super Heroes. His work has been featured in several Italian and European art fairs, including Arte Fiera Bologna, ArtVerona and Art Karlsruhe (Germany). In 2016 he was a finalist for the Francesco Fabbri National Prize, and in 2023 he won first prize at the prestigious San Fedele competition in Milan.

He has participated in various international residencies, including BoCs Art, curated by Alberto Dambruoso. His work has been published in specialised magazines such as Segno, Exibart and Espoarte, and has also been featured in a programme on Rai Cultura curated by Cristina Clausen. Over the years, critics including Alberto Mattia Martini, Kevin McManus, Gabriele Salvaterra, Martina Cavallarin and Eleonora Frattarolo have written about his work. His sculptures are held in both public and private collections.
