Andrea Bersani: Fisher of Ideas opens at Galleria Studio Cenacchi on Thursday 7 July at 7 pm.

The exhibition runs until 28 July and is open during the gallery’s summer hours, Monday to Friday, 4–7.30 pm.

The exhibition explores the many facets of Andrea Bersani’s (1955–2022) creative practice, with a particular focus on his abstract painting.

Bersani graduated in Decorative Painting from the Art Institute in Bologna. From 1975 onwards, he worked across the field of visual communication as a graphic designer, advertising creative and illustrator. His projects included illustrated campaigns for Mandarina Duck and the logo for Ferretti shipyards. He was also a satirical artist and visual artist.

In 2019, the gallery presented Typopainting, a solo exhibition devoted entirely to Bersani’s abstract works, accompanied by a critical text by Bruno Benuzzi.
