On Tuesday 19 September at 6 pm, the solo exhibition Piccole foto da montagna by Luca Madera, curated by Jacopo Cenacchi, opens at Galleria Studio Cenacchi.

Madera’s first solo exhibition at the gallery is a concise and refined presentation of photographs, displayed through a distinctive installation conceived specifically by the artist for the exhibition space.

These photographs at times freeze time, and at others suspend it. Within this atlas of imagined memories, the images belong equally to moments from fifty years ago, to the present, or to a future yet to come. They can be understood as photo trouvée: images that confront us with stories and situations to which each viewer responds in a personal and private way.

Collected within an atlas-like structure, the works evoke a subtle sense of nostalgia for the future.
