On 24 November at 6 pm, Portraits in the Gallery, a photography exhibition by Ennio D’Altri, opens at Studio Cenacchi, Via Santo Stefano 63, Bologna.

D’Altri’s camera explores the faces of Bologna without indulgence. His subjects are both familiar and unknown. He dwells on each face without flattering the sitter, revealing instead what lies at the heart of every portrait: its humanity.
At a time when selfies have become ubiquitous, D’Altri’s portraits speak a language now largely absent from everyday photography. His subjects acquire both presence and a sense of abstraction, creating images that intrigue and surprise the viewer.
During the exhibition, a photographic set will be installed in the gallery, where D’Altri will create new portraits. Displayed immediately after they are taken, these photographs will become a living, constantly evolving part of the exhibition.
